WE’RE VERY IMPRESSED WITH OUR CURRICULUM.
NOW IT’S YOUR TURN.

Throughout your child(ren)’s years at Chabad Hebrew School of the Arts, they will be exploring various curriculums and themes to give them a well-rounded knowledge and appreciation for Judaism.

In addition to Prayer, Hebrew Reading, and a spiraling Holiday curriculum, each class explores this (exclusively-ours, but internationally-used) curriculum:

These curriculums are designed to be age-appropriate and are taught in a hands-on, engaging manner.

Pre-K
Judaism 101
Students explore the Mitzvahs of Shabbat and Kosher.  The Shabbat unit includes the creation of the world, Shabbat customs, foods, and songs. In the Kosher unit, the students explore what makes a food kosher and engage in various food labs to ascertain whether the food is Kosher or not.

GENESIS
“In the beginning, G‑d created the world” and filled it with people. But, oh, the journey was not so smooth. Meet the personalities of the 1st Book of the Torah, the Book of Genesis. Learn their stories and think about the choices we would make in their situation. We make a creative scrapbook to go along.

K
COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
Students learn the various blessings said on foods and while performing various Mitzvahs. They learn the Hebrew meaning of the blessings, along with the overall theme of gratitude to G‑d for all the blessings he bestows on us.  Students work with a blessings scrapbook throughout the year and practice their blessings with a Brachot Bee.
