Efraim Abrams is originally from Long Island, NY. When he was 18 years old, after graduating high school, he made aliyah to Israel. Prior to drafting to the IDF he attended the Keshet Yehuda Religious Pre-Military Academy.
In the summer of 2021, he was drafted to Combat Engineering where he served under the 601st battalion. His unit specializes in demolition by the use of explosives as well as armored construction vehicles.
Later in his service, he became a commander in combat engineering where he was a D9 commander. He was of the first men to invade Gaza and fought for 6 months some of the most intense battles in Gaza where he was injured and recently recovered.
In June of 2024 he officially finished his military service.
